I specialize in trauma-informed care from an intersectional feminist and collective care lens. I believe in meeting individuals where they are and that building support is a community effort that sometimes starts within the therapeutic relationship and can grow outward. I aim to empower and provide support to individuals and couples/partners who have anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship stress, and chronic illness. In my practice, we will work together to build your communication skills, increase intimacy in relationships, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and create healthy boundaries so that you can see your own strength and resiliency.
I received my Master's of Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Los Angeles with a specialization in LGBTQ+ Affirmative Psychotherapy. I worked in community mental health for the past 8 years including the Los Angeles LGBT Center and as volunteer for The Trevor Project, a LGBTQ+ teen suicide prevention lifeline. I am currently an Adjunct Facility member of Antioch University, Los Angeles and I also provide consults/cultural competency trainings for organizations/corporations.
